hey dawgs and dinguses, welcome to dungeon dingus deluxe.

honestly, i'm playing a tabletop game with some friends and it has a hypersimplified ruleset and i'm tired of tracking all of my stuff with notes and docs and just wanted a simple app i could use to generate a character and keep track of it. i added some functionality to adjust the page further to an extent so maybe it'll work for other rulesets? maybe it'll work for a dm tracking an npc? who knows. not me.

anyway, this readme is as ai generated as the tool but i think it made sense of most of it.

QUICK TIPS & CONTROL GUIDE

[startup & character management]
- Load Character (.json): Click to upload and parse an existing character save file.
- Create New Character: Launches the Character Configurator to set up your name, photo, currency, lives, and initial stats.
- Save to File: Click the save icon (💾) next to your character name to export your sheet back out to a `.json` file.

[stats & attributes]
- Add / Remove Stats: Use [+ Stat] and [- Stat] buttons within your stats panel to dynamically add or delete attributes on the fly.
- Editing Values: Click directly into any stat name field or number box to modify your character's traits.

[health systems: wounds vs. hp]
- Wounds Mode: Track structural trauma across interactive grid bars. Use the input box to configure maximum wounds (1 to 10) and click individual bars to toggle their active state.
- HP Mode: Switch the dropdown header from WOUNDS to HP to track numerical health values using current/max inputs and an interactive progress bar.

[inventory, lore & notes]
- Inventory / Lore / Notes: Use the dedicated text boxes to log items, record character background details/feats, and track real-time session notes.
